N840JK Project Watch Update for Week of October 22, 2017

This week we continued installation of surface de-ice boots, installed left and right inboard wing boots, right and left horizontal boots and are in process of installing vertical boot.  Fuel cells and panels were all closed up and aircraft fueled for initial leak check; a few minor leaks were noted.  Aircraft was de-fueled and are in process of working fuel leaks.  Installed main landing gear nose wheel, main wheels and tires.  Hydraulic system was pressurized for ops and leak checks; found overhauled hydraulic accumulator leaking internally.  Removed hydraulic accumulator and sent back to vendor for re-work.

Avionics continue to fabricate and install antenna coax cables.  Avionics equipment and racks have been installed (some temporary for ops checks).  Power has been applied to aircraft and in process of performing initial ops checks and configuring G-950 and software loads.
