The Dash 10T provides a noticeable torque gain at altitudes over the -5 engine. The Dash 10T engine powered 690A test aircraft consistently demonstrated 300-310 KTAS cruise speeds at 20,000 feet, depending on aircraft weight. (Performance data based on preliminary flight tests. 690A and B aircraft have been tested with similar performance improvements.)

Engine Retrofit Options

OPTION #1 : Overhaul & Modification This option best suits those operators nearing overhaul expiration on the -5 engine. However, it may be accomplished at any point in the engine's life with resultant overhaul service bulletin modification standards and warranty benefits.

Overhaul and Major Inspection Interval Options

OPTION #2 : Engine Continued Time Modification This option makes Dash 10 engine performance available without waiting for the -5 engine to reach its scheduled overhaul interval.

Note: The operator must declare the desired overhaul option at the time of engine modification to allow for the appropriate log book entries to be accomplished.

Warranties

Overhaul** Twenty-four months from date of shipment or 12 months from date of initial operation whichever occurs first for defects in material and workmanship. Additionally, the turbine section will be covered for 24 months from date of initial operation.

Repair Continued Time** Twelve months from date of initial operation on power section and gearbox for defects in material and workmanship. Thirty days from date of initial operation on line replacement items. Additionally, the turbine section will be covered for 24 months from date of initial operation.
