Phenom Jet Association – Voting For 2013 Destination

The Phenom Jet Association recently released their eletter with the story below.  For more information please visit phenom.aero

Where in the World is Phenomenal 2013?

The highlight of the year for the Phenom Jet Association is our annual “Phenomenal” conference. Both the 2011 conference on San Antonio’s Riverwalk, and the 2012 conference in beautiful Savannah, were successful, informative, and fun events.

Now it’s time to start thinking about 2013. The good news is we are going to have two separate opportunities to get together, and we want you to help us decide where.

First, the annual conference. We are proposing either Montreal, Canada, June 12-16, or The American Club in Kohler, Wisconsin, June 5-9.

Mid-June is a fabulous time in Montreal, one of the most cosmopolitan cities in North America. Montreal has been rated as the best city in North America for international association conferences. It’s also the home of Pratt & Whitney, Canada, manufacturer of Phenom engines, and we’ve already been invited to tour the PWC facility while in town for the conference. (Conference hotel to be determined.)

The other option for the annual conference is the Tudor-style American Club. Built in 1918 by Walter J. Kohler, Sr., today it is recognized as a Forbes Five-Star destination, one of only 57 worldwide. The hotel and its setting–bucolic Kohler, Wisconsin–boast of having four world-class Pete Dye golf courses, a 500-acre nature preserve, a sports center and racquet club, and the Shops at Woodlake Kohler.

Along with our annual conference, we’re planning something new for members–a mid-winter mini-conference in the Caribbean. We floated this idea at Savannah, and received overwhelmingly positive response.

We’re proposing to meet Thursday through Sunday, January 24-27, at either the St. Regis on Bahia Beach in Puerto Rico, or Tortuga Bay in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

Both are luxurious beachfront resorts with nearby airports-of-entry. We’ll have a few hours of seminar sessions over the course of the weekend, but the majority of our time will be devoted to soaking up the Caribbean sun and enjoying island charm.

So, what’ll it be for our annual conference in June–the historic American Club in Kohler, Wisconsin, or cosmopolitan Montreal?

And for our new mid-winter mini-conference in the Caribbean, would you prefer the St. Regis in Puerto Rico, or the Tortuga Club in the Dominican Republic?

We need to reach a decision by September 1, so please vote now.
